Heading in the opposite direction along this road connects Hout Bay to Camps Bay.

The hike up the Disa River Gorge to Hell’s Gate in Orange Kloof is one of the most spectacular routes in the Western Cape. This is one of the most popular Hout Bay activities. This full day trail takes you through a deep river gorge, flanked by sheer cliffs, and filled with pristine Afromontane forest. In the depths of the gorge flows the bubbling Disa River, forming a succession of deep pools and waterfalls, each more beautiful than the last.
